Truly off the beaten track, this tour explores the hidden gems of the Southern Alps, halfway between the Swiss border and the Mediterranean Riviera. From high mountain peaks to deep canyons, crystal clear alpine rivers and deep forests teeming with life, it’s into the wild that David will bring you to discover a surprisingly rich heritage. You will enjoy good food, traditional produce, panoramas to take your breath away, and learn about ancient sites with their thousand-year-old stories.

This tour is limited to 7 members as it explores some remote areas off from the beaten tracks and offers a very personal and informal experience.

You will be accompanied by David, the travelling bard, fluent in English and French who lives at the heart of the travelled areas. His commentaries are given in a very warm and friendly manner, and will be valuable for your understanding of the local culture, history and natural environment.
